A new HP dv3007, replacing the MSI M510C.
The white M510C is served for 3 years, without any upgrades.
I once thought about to add some RAMs or change the hard disk,
but the shining LCD panel and wireless card problem hold me for almost a year.
At last, I gave up the update plan, turning into a new machine.
For about 16 months searching, I got an DV3007 yesterday.

I was looking for a NB with 13.3" LCD panel, or some lighter one.
First came into my mind is the ASUS W7.
They do have many service center, and one of them is just around my house.
But why did I choose it? It has a wired 512 RAM on board. = =

So, the next one is TOSHIBA M600.
The Japanese machine is nice, but the service is ...
By the way, it has a succeeding one named M800, which you can consider as well.

You might ask why I did not mention the MSI NBs.
My M510C is a really nice NB, though she has so may disadvantages.
I have to admit that the LCD is one of the reasons I did not look for theirs.
When the summer I was second grade in CCE, my M510C was out on strike before my vocation.
Since the MSI service center moved to somewhere else, I asked another shop to send it.
The MSI engineer said no problem and updated the BIOS. = =
Wow, maybe she wants a vocation, too.

Another big hit to me is the unknown failure. There should be some records in my blog.
Although MSI has many high C/P 13.3" NBs, I hope to make a change.

I have used many NBs, and I am in a company whose 80% benefit is NB OEM.
HP is now the biggest NB manufacturer of the world, and about 25% of our products are theirs.
And I think my dv3007 is not from my company. = v = (looks not our production line)
On my office desk I have a HP dv6000 series NB and an ACER Aspire 1350.
This dv3007 is the first HP 13.3" NB.
I remember my M510C is also an upgrade version at that time.
So, that means I always try the latest NB. :p
Maybe it is a common thing that a software engineer always do.
