At the begining I did not plan to participate.
But I think I may have to try once, maybe I can see something special so I signed up.
That's why I came to Taipei today, and I think that's a good time to understand google more. ^^

Originally I planned to ride to 板橋 MRT station at 8 AM.
Then to take MRT to Taipei City Hall station and walk to the Taipei International Convention Center(TICC).
Unfortunately it was raining, and that meant I have to take the bus.
It is hard to be there on time by taking a bus, especially the rainy days.

I got on the bus at 8:40, 30 minutes to Taipei Railroad station, 10 minutes to the MRT station.
When I got TICC, it was 9:50. And the welcome session was almost finished.
After a brief welcome speech, the developer day started!
Oh, my god! So many people, software engineers?
It probably was the the highest density software engineers were in Taiwan that day.

The first session I heard some Map API introduction.
For the second session I chose the introduction the GData API.
Honestly a little disappointment, not to Google but the introductions.
Maybe I chosed the wrong topics because these two I already knew them and used before.

At the lunch time Google provided each one a lunch box.
It was quite nice, especially the drumstick A_A
After the lunch break, Google arranged some peeple to demostrate their work based on Google API.
The mobile devices are hot now! So I spent some time there.
And I'm now interested in the Andriod platform now :p

The third seesion we joined the Cloud Computing introduction.
Google made their own file system, database, and so on.
They need no server hardwares or RAIDs, either.
I think I can understand why they are so unique.

We went to the Andriod VM intro for our last session today.
Andriod applications are written in Java, and Google Andriod project team modified the Java VM.
Since the cell phone uses an ARM processor, they need to improve the Java performance.
They also mentioned about the programming skills.
It is very important if you use a good statement having higher performance.

Ammmm, learn a lot.
I think it's time to change the coding habits now.

In order to get a job in 73F in 101?

Maybe I will. haha.
